The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey

Rating: 5/5

This was a huge and pleasant surprise for me and I am so glad I decided to pick this book up.

Main Characters: Echo, Caius, Dorian, Ivy, Jasper, Ala, Tanith, Ruby, Altair, Rowan

Characters: 9/10

-loved Dorian and Echo

-totally ship Dorian with Caius (anyone else agree?)

Writing: 8/10

-excellent balance of light and dark moments

-expressed the different character perspectives really well

Plot: 7/10

-sometimes hard to understand and picture the feathers on the Avicen

-liked the feud between the Drakharin and the Avicen

Enjoyability: 9/10

-was enthralled the whole time

-made me become extremely excited for book 2

Fun Fact: I am going to be meeting this author, as well as Amy Ewing and Lexa Hillyer, and the signing won’t come soon enough:)
