This book had a promising beginning but eventually I became bored with the story.

Main Characters: Mattie, Grandfather

-enjoyed Mattie

-couldn’t really connect with any of the characters

Writing: 7/10



Pace: 7/10

-slow paced

-middle was dragged on

Enjoyability: 7/10

-loved beginning and very end

-boring in the middle

Fun Fact: The Yellow Fever, which the book is based off of, still exists today!
