Top 5 Wednesday // Second Books

I randomly decided to continue on with Top 5 Wednesday topics, so I decided to start with this week’s topic which is best second books in series. Sorry this is a day late, but better late than never. Let’s begin;)

5.) Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

17167166

This book was a huge improvement from the already impressive first book. It was action-packed, suspenseful, and I grew to care for the characters so much more.

4.) The Keeper by David Baldacci

24453338

This book was also super action-packed and fast-paced, and I remember being unable to put it down.

3.) Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard

23174274

This book was undoubtedly exhilarating and unputdownable. Seriously fantastic and amazing up until the end.

2.) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling

15881

This book wasn’t actually as good as the first, which I understand was the topic, but I had to include it because of how amazing it was.

1.) The Pillars of Ponderay by Lindsay Cummings

24336367

This book was by far the biggest improvement from the first one in the series. It was sooooo fast-paced and the characters were breaths of fresh air. I loved it.
